After a cool 4 years of college, 3 years of accounting experience, and a lot of knowledge on "how it works in the real world, " I've had to develop skills I never would have thought an accountant would need. The "real" skills like how to make an ethernet cord to get the internet back up or how to navigate different software programs on all sorts of devices. Gradually these escalated to what would give my client the best tax advantages in the long term and short term or how should I approach this complex payroll issue. I've crafted myself a niece in finding and solving problems, which is very handy for an accountant.
